Planned Activities
Planned activities, including the solicitation and collection of funds and memorabilia, will all be done through volunteer efforts. The renovation of the Wakelon Campus is enabling Friends of Wakelon supporters the opportunity to provide a lasting and visible component of this transformation. Timeless, distinctive bricks will be engraved with the text of your choice and proudly installed for public display. Donations for Phase One will be accepted throughout the year, and 100% of funds collected will go to the projects set forth above. A major fund raising drive will be conducted in 2008, beginning as soon as nonprofit status is granted. The anticipated date for the Open House at the Municipal Complex is January, 2009. We hope to have Phase One completed by then.
